Workwell Industries

Workwell Industries provides employment services to those facing challenges in finding work. Originally established for individuals with disabilities, we now offer jobs for the economically disadvantaged, refugees, veterans, homeless, and disabled. We are the largest employer in the Portland area and take pride in having a positive impact on the community. We generate most of our income through our own efforts and provide seasonal employment opportunities while promoting pride and dignity in the workplace.

Who We Are

Workwell Industries was founded in 1979 as a non-profit to provide job services for the disabled. Those who initiated what was formerly Custom Quality Services were passionate about meaningful employment for those with disabilities.
Workwell has expanded its mission and now provides jobs for the economically challenged, refugees, veterans the homeless and the disabled. A large number of our employees are from the immediate area. Workwell has had a tremendous impact on the Portland area. Being the largest employer in the area, Workwell can say with confidence that we have changed many lives and the area by providing an income to those in need. This gives the individuals we serve a "hand-up" financially. This in turn helps the economy of the area as it grows.

We are unique because of the individuals we assist and are primarily self-supporting with 97% of our income being self-generated. We do not receive any governmental funding.

By creating jobs, we are training individuals for a marketable skill, and an opportunity to support their families with a paycheck. This can provide a method to reduce public assistance, crime and most importantly gives individuals in our community dignity.

Our company provides outsource services including packaging, assembly and project services.
