WRC, Inc. | Standing with Survivors.
Strengthening Communities.

For nearly 50 years, WRC (formerly
the Women's Resource Center) has been the sole provider of comprehensive
services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in Lackawanna
and Susquehanna counties. As a designated rape crisis, domestic violence services center and trusted
community partner, we are on the front lines every day—responding to crisis,
offering safety, and empowering survivors to rebuild their lives.

At WRC, we believe that every person
deserves to live free from violence, fear, and coercion. That’s why we offer:

  • 24/7
    hotline and crisis response

  • Emergency
    shelter and safe housing

  • Legal
    advocacy and court accompaniment

  • Trauma-informed
    counseling for adults and children

  • Medical
advocacy at hospitals and health centers

  • Prevention
    education in schools and communities

  • Civil legal representation by licensed staff attorneys

Each year, more than 2,800
individuals
—many fleeing abuses with nothing but hope—turn to WRC. And
every single one of our services is free and confidential.

To date, we’ve walked alongside more
than 60,000 survivors
on their path to safety, healing, and independence.

But we can’t do it without you.

During NEPA Gives, your
donation will help WRC:

  • Keep
    our Safe House doors open

  • Provide
emergency financial assistance to families starting over

  • Expand
    bilingual services for Spanish-speaking survivors

  • Offer
healing counseling sessions for adults and children exposed to
    trauma

  • Sustain
    around-the-clock crisis response

Together, we can break the cycle of
abuse and create a future where everyone is safe, heard, and valued.

Please support WRC during NEPA
Gives—because healing begins with hope, and hope begins with you.
