We address the needs of homeless families by providing vital services that embrace a holistic approach to crisis resolution and treatment for homeless families. We address the needs of the total family by providing services and referrals for support. We assist them in the process of becoming contributing members of the community. We accomplish our mission through the operation of emergency housing programs Our services empower individuals in overcoming barriers.

Womanspace East provides Emergency Shelter for Families with dependent children who are experiencing homelessness. The primary objective in emergency shelters is to identify the cause of homelessness and take necessary steps toward finding permanent housing for the consumers. During their stay, consumers are provided with case management services, housing assistance, and referrals to appropriate resources.



Womanspace East's Emergency Shelter provides temporary housing services to intact families. We can serve as many as 26 families at any given time. Any donation you can spare is very much appreciated.
