For 165 years, the Y has built on the belief that connection is not a luxury—it’s a lifeline. We create welcoming spaces where people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities come together to be part of something larger than themselves. Whether it's a parent finding support in our early learning programs, a teen finding a mentor in a youth program, or seniors gathering for coffee and conversation, the Y offers something profoundly important – a place to belong.

Combined, the Y provided $453,000 in total financial assistance last year – ensuring that the financial circumstances of a child, a family, or an individual were not a barrier to achievement, relationships and belonging. This is not covered by membership fees; it's possible because of donors like you. Please join us in supporting our community.

In 2024:

• 
  1,500 children learned to swim and be safe in and around water, addressing the risk of drowning deaths for children, which is the #1 cause of death for children ages 1-4.


• 
  1,900 children played youth sports. For some, this was the first time they ever played on a team.


• 
  1,000 teens found a safe space during out-of-school time. 

The Y hosted:

• 
  4 Matter of Balance Classes with 52 participants, helping people find the confidence and skills to safely navigate their own homes.


• 
  5 Diabetes Prevention Programs with 70 participants. These programs have helped participants reduce their A1C levels by .7 points and reduce their BMI by 5.1%.


• 
  40 Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring Screenings with 250 participants


• 
  8 Parkinson’s Support Group Meetings, which were started by a member with Parkinson’s who wanted to meet others with the disease.

The Y provided:

• 
  1,080 hours of senior programs and events, outside of classes.   

• 
  282,000 free meals to children and teens.

• 
  74 childcare scholarships in the amount of $58,000 to help working families

• 
  10,000 members received a scholarship on membership and program fees, totaling $395,000.
