The Regional Family YMCA of Laurel Highlands puts Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.

The YMCA's child care programs offers a variety of services to families. The Y-Tot program is for children ages 2 to 5. Three different classes are offered based on age. The Pre-K program prepares children to enter kindergarten. The YMCA also offers two school-age child care programs. The first occurs during the school year with Before and After School Care. This state licensed program has students being cared for before and after school at their elementary school by the YMCA staff. The second programs is the Summer Day Camp. Working parents can know their child is being cared for, and entertained with a wide variety of activities including weekly fieldtrips. All these programs allow parents to work without worrying who is watching their children. As with all YMCA programs if someone is unable to afford the cost of the services there is financial assistance available.
