The mission of the San Angelo YMCA is to serve the people in the San Angelo community of all faiths and ages, with emphasis on families and youth, to permit them to achieve their God-given potential in spirit, mind and body through programs, staff, facilities and the community.

At the YMCA of San Angelo, our diverse programs are designed to empower and support individuals and families from all walks of life, fostering community well-being through fitness, sports, and educational initiatives. Central to our mission is the commitment to ensure no one is turned away due to an inability to pay. In the past year alone, we have awarded over $388,000 in scholarships to those in need, making a significant impact in our community. This achievement underscores the vital role that your donations play in enhancing lives and building stronger communities.
