You Are Not Alone (YANA Center)

Has your life been impacted by substance use? Have you, a friend or a loved one struggled with addiction? You Are Not Alone (YANA Center) provides a safe, substance-free environment for people dealing with addictions who wish to recover in a twelve step environment.  We have meeting rooms, televisions, computers, wi-fi, a kitchen and a lounge area for recovery meetings (Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Dharma Recovery, Grief Support Group, Overeaters Anonymous, Adult Children of Alcoholics, etc.) accommodating both in person or hybrid in person/online meetings. The YANA Center has become an important recovery hub since it was founded in 2019.

Research shows that interpersonal connection and peer support is a critical component to substance use recovery. It is more important now than ever to support organizations like YANA, that provide a safe space for people from all walks of life to find the path out of the bongage of addiction.  

In the past year, the YANA Center has made significant improvements to the facility including soundproofing rooms for privacy, installing storage cabinets to secure groups' meeting materials, and soon will be installing an HVAC system to replace an unreliable and outdated heating and cooling system. These improvements come with a cost.  Your gift, of any size, will help us to recover those costs and reach our goal of 1,000 to unlock additional funds from the NH Gives Bonus Pool. Research shows that interpersonal connection and peer support is important to recovery. YANA is open, adhering to COVID protocols, with 12 step recovery meetings seven days a week.
