Young Catholic Professionals-Charlotte

YCP Charlotte launched in November 2023 with 300+ young adults and Catholic business leaders coming together for a night of networking and fellowship. Since our inception, we have hosted monthly events including: 

• An executive speaker series highlighting leaders like Jacob Ciccarelli, Founder of Truthly, speaking on sanctifying our work day; and Conor Gallagher, CEO of Tan Books, speaking on building and maintaining a well-ordered life.

• A panel discussion featuring Diane Fallace, Fr. Darren Balkey, and Dr. Matthew Zban on offering up mundanity as an act of service and striving for humble excellence in all things.

• And several networking happy hours that featured fun, thought-provoking activities intending to propel conversation on the ways we bring our faith into the workplace. 

Our events often feature community tables where Catholic organizations and nonprofits showcase their work to our members. We have partnered with MiraVia, St. Gabriel’s Young Adult Ministry, Belmont Abbey College, St. Thomas Aquinas Men’s Club, and others to help spread the word about our work and share the wonderful work these organizations are undertaking in our community.
