Youth Connection was created to connect at-risk youth to services that were not provided by any governmental or non-profit organization. The goal is to prevent delinquency through early intervention.
Youth Connection helps at-risk youth, ages 6-13, by placing them into positive structured program, and paying their monthly tuition. Referrals are accepted from all law enforcement agencies, social workers and school counselors.
For the past 33 years, Youth Connection has helped thousands of at-risk youth, on the verge of going in the wrong direction or failing academically, become successful.
This pandemic has had a negative impact on our at-risk youth and families. Notably, during the past year, some of our students registered and participated in extracurricular activities.. And, two students were selected to play on the AYSO All-Stars Team.
A few students played flag football where they developed new skills and learned the importance of teamwork.
And, some students participated in gymnastic, tumbling and trampoline.
Students were invited to shop for their own sports equipment, school clothing and supplies.
Additionally, students were afforded an opportunity to participate in Tutoring, STEM, Arts & Craft, and Science Workshops.
We believe "Redirection by Connection" is the answer. You can help make a difference in the lives of our youth.
Who We Are
Youth Connection helps at-risk youth (ages 6-13) find their place in the community while developing into responsible adults. Our goal is to prevent delinquency though early intervention. We accept referrals from Probation Officers, Social Workers, and Counselors. Eligible youth are evaluated and connected to private or public programs with the hopes of redirecting their young lives with positive structured programs.
