The Young Professionals Association of Louisville (YPAL) Foundation began in 2013 as the community outreach arm of our partner organization, YPAL, which has been connecting, engaging, and developing Greater Louisville young professionals (YPs) since 1999.  Since then, the YPAL Foundation has been focused on creating access for young professionals. Our why is to create a vibrant, welcoming community for young professionals (YPs) in Greater Louisville. For YPAL this is accomplished through year-round programming. For the YPAL Foundation, this is advanced through investment in individuals through: 

• Tuition support - supporting individuals through the YPAL Emerging Leaders Program (ELP)
• Childcare stipends - supporting childcare for participants in ELP
• YP Development Fund - mini-grants for individuals to pursue learning, opportunities, certifications, and more to further their development
• Sponsorship of YPAL Event Participation - fully funding the cost of a YP to participate in a ticketed YPAL event

The YPAL Foundation empowers young professionals to be the leaders of today by advancing our shared diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) commitment, investing in YPAL's sustainable growth solutions, and removing barriers to access to professional development and continuing education for individuals. Now more than ever, empowering the next generation of leaders is critical for our community.
