Colorado Haiti Project is an organization that is very important to our family and holds a special place in our hearts. Many trips there have proved to be both inspiring and life-changing. CHP has a 30 year history of supporting locally-led initiatives in rural Haiti. Check out the video at the bottom of this page of Max and Jamie to learn more about CHP!
As we'll all be staying inside over these weeks, please consider joining my virtual table, at Evening for Haiti - Online Event, April 26, 5 pm (MT). More details at coloradohaitiproject.org/eveningforhaiti
Haiti will need our support more than ever in the coming year, and this event can make a life-changing difference for families in Haiti. If you can support with a gift, be it $5 or $500, we will be grateful. That said, it is FREE to register and attend, and we would love to have you there as part of my virtual table! WE WILL BE MATCHING EVERY DOLLAR DONATED TO THIS PAGE in order to maximize your gift during these difficult times. *Note - if you want to support our table goal but wish to donate by check or other manner, this is possible, just let us know.
You can find more info on the event below, and you can learn more about the important work of the Colorado Haiti Project at coloradohaitiproject.org.
CHP depends on Evening for Haiti, our major yearly event, to fund essential work in community health, education, agriculture, and girls' empowerment. If you can help us keep these programs moving forward by making a financial gift, we are grateful! It could make a life-saving difference and is needed now more than ever. If not possible for you at this time, please tune in for the event anyway, we'd love to introduce you to a group of extraordinary Haitian leaders, health workers, farmers, families, and students.
April 26, 5 pm MT, Evening for Haiti - Online Event will feature a silent auction, words from Petit Trou, music from Paul Beaubrun, reflections and a blessing from Bishop Kym Lucas, and this year's Ted Lewis Award presentation to Jackie Martin.
