Thank you for supporting my Family Campaign!

Once again, I humbly and gratefully request your support of the Harboring Hearts Family Campaign.  I continue to serve on the Board of this amazing organization, that is dedicated to providing critical financial and emotional assistance for heart patients and their families.  It is no surprise that the mission is near and dear to my heart!

A year ago, I had the pleasure of meeting Olivia (photo above) and her family at a Harboring Hearts event in NYC.  As the photo highlights, she is most definitely a “gal after my own heart.”  Olivia’s brother, Deklan was born with a severe congenital heart defect and underwent open heart surgery at just five weeks old.  The Hanna family was supported by Harboring Hearts as he went thru and recovered from his surgery.  Although he will likely need additional surgeries, Deklan is currently doing well and will soon celebrate his 3rd birthday.  

 Since our founding in 2009, Harboring Hearts has provided emergency housing support to over 2000 families and additional help (meals, transportation, emotional support) to over 7450 cardiac surgery and transplant patients and their families.  We are grateful to partner with 9 hospitals in carrying out this critical work.  

This Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, I appreciate your help in “spreading the love” by contributing to the Harboring Hearts Family Campaign.  From the bottom of my heart, “thank you” for your generous, compassionate hearts!
