ILCops 2025 Cycle Across Illinois

Every summer, I push my body and soul across Illinois, mile after mile, for one simple reason: I refuse to forget. This will be my ninth year riding in honor of the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice—officers who kissed their families goodbye, laced up their boots, and never came home.

Each turn of the pedal is a tribute to their service, a silent promise to their families that they are not alone. I ride for the fallen, for their children who will grow up with only stories, for their spouses who sleep beside an empty space, and for their parents who should never have to bury their child.

The wind stings my face, my legs burn, but none of it compares to the weight of loss carried by those left behind. With every mile, I honor their sacrifice. With every push forward, I remind the world that their names, their courage, and their legacy will never fade.

I ride because I must. Because they can’t. Because their families still need us. And I will keep riding, year after year, until my own legs refuse to carry me forward.

This mission is deeply personal to me, but I cannot do it alone. To participate, I have committed to raising $1,200, which will go directly toward supporting the families of fallen officers.
