Miracle

Miracle  is a beautiful five year old chow who has had it rough the last couple months. Her elderly owner passed away and the relatives promptly dumped her and her brother into a kill shelter. Her brother was more outgoing and friendly and got adopted, but Miracle found herself out of time. We couldn't let this poor girl die, and she arrived into our care a week ago. Miracle is very sweet, and loves nothing more than other dogs but freaks out at the sight of leash. We finally earned her trust and she now walks well on harness, but still freaks at the sight of collar. Since she is now comfortable with us, we were able to finally groom her matted fur, only to found a giant mammary tumor. She is scheduled for surgery which has excellent, cancer free prognosis on October 7th but we desperately need to raise funds for her surgery.
