Hello friends!
My name is Bandit & I'm a 12 year old Chihuahua rescue. I'm not the stereotypical Chihuahua though. I greet all guests with a bark, yes. But soon after, all visitors are my friend. I will lick and snuggle anything 30 seconds after us meeting! 👅
I have a special talent for finding small cracks and crevices to nap in. And I'm well practiced in vacuuming under furniture.
In August of 2020 I was diagnosed with Cushings. At the time, my dads were told I'd have anywhere from 6-12 months left with our family. In an effort to preserve memories, Dad started taking a lot of photos of me. What started as an effort to share these photos with friends and family eventually became a part time job for me. I've become a brand ambassador for an amazing pet accessory/clothing company. I've come to enjoy the amount of attention I get during these photo shoots *and the treats*. I have my own fan base which is CRAZY to think about. But the point is, we're still trying new things!
As for the diagnosis… I have yet to feel it! It's been almost a year and thanks to my doctors, family, and some ridiculously strong CBD oil, I'm still as young as ever and full of energy.
*Knock on wood* Before this fundraiser is over I'll have officially made it past the year mark I was given! 💪💪💪
When I saw the opportunity to have my sweet little mug printed & enshrined on a can of Odell's beer, I KNEW I had to go for it. Whether I have 6 months or 6 years left in this wonderful life, I will enjoy every minute of it trying new things! <3 <3 <3
