Rainbow SIG Scholarship

The Rainbow Day of Giving is the opportunity to support scholarships for deserving LGBTQI students who wish to participate in semester study abroad programs. Because the LGBTQI community includes a diverse population of students who often face financial challenges that prevent them from studying abroad, the Rainbow Scholarship gives them this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Thanks to the generous individuals who participated in last year’s Rainbow Day of Giving, three students were able to study abroad in Uganda & Rwanda, Kirakata, Japan, and Prague, Czech Republic.

Our goal this year is to support five students who wish to study abroad during the fall 2017 or spring 2018 semester, each with $5,000 scholarships totaling $25,000.
