$10,000 goal

Hello! I have set up this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friend, Muhammed, to help raise funds for his family. I have known Muhammed for almost two years now, and in that time he has shared with me about his family, life in The Gambia, and the struggles he faces. He has shown me nothing but kindness and encouragement when I have faced my own challenges, and I now want to repay that kindness.

Muhammed lives in Farato, a small village in The Gambia, West Africa, with his siblings: Amie (17), Fatou (15), Mariama (13), Jonsouba (10), and Buba (8). He has little time to be a teenager himself as he works hard to provide for his family, and he hopes to one day buy a van so he can work as a delivery driver. Recently, their home flooded in this year's rainy season, ruining their beds and personal belongings, and forcing them to sleep on the floor. Replacing all their beds at once is too big a burden for Muhammed to carry alone, so I have created this fundraiser to give them a helping hand. The funds will go towards replacing their mattresses, bedding, clothing, and furniture that was destroyed in the floods. Any additional funds will go towards helping Muhammed buy a van so he can provide a stable income for his family. Below is a message from Muhammed;

"Hello my brothers and sisters! My name is Muhammed, I am from The Gambia Western part of Africa! I am a young hard working man I live with my family and siblings I always try my best to support my family but in this raining season things get hard because the wind 🌬️ and the rain destroy our house and all our beds are wet. We have no support because in Africa nobody’s care about each other this is how we are living here in this hard conditions and still taking patience with it. My dear brothers and sisters I beg all of you to donate anything you can with your kind hearts, please.

Thank you for your support and God bless you!"
