Em's Chiari Journey

Hi Everyone! I am so grateful to take part in this fundraising effort! As some of you know, in 2010 I was diagnosed with Chiari Malformation Type 1 after a series of appointments and diagnostic imaging. This is a progressive neurological condition in which the brain tonsils come through the opening of the skull and push on the spinal column, causing a wide range of symptoms. There is no cure but many patients have brain surgery to reduce symptoms. Much more research and awareness is needed. I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for donating or sharing ♥
