COJ is committed to illuminate the prevalence of childhood bereavement. Through our in-school support, we equip bereaved children and teens and all who support them (schools, group facilitators, and families) with the critical tools necessary to navigate their grieving process. In doing so, we annually recognize National Children’s Grief Awareness month in November. The Breakfast Fundraiser on November 4, 2022 will kick off our campaign to honor and ensure continued support for children and teens who are grieving.
