Public River Access on the Weber River

$915

raised by 21 people

$20,000 goal

Thanks to a grant provided by Summit County which supports the Oakley River Corridor project, a new riverside park in the center of Oakley City called “Riverbend Park” will provide fishing and trail access to the public, similar to Steven's Grove located on Millrace Road. It is the second big step in a plan that dates back a decade to establish a trail network across Oakley and protect the Weber River. Summit Land Conservancy needs $50,000 by the end of October to transfer the property into public hands and improve access and water quality for future generations.
