.AHHA is Humboldt County's grassroots advocacy group for unsheltered individuals. With the mobile shower Care-A-Van,  AHHA volunteers serve up hot showers, fresh, warm clothing, hygiene items, food, and much more to communities across the North Coast.

AHHA’s vision is to implement alternative and affordable long-term solutions to the housing crisis based on a tried and tested model of self-organized communities. AHHA stands out for its bottom up approah, its intimate connection with the houseless population, and it non-stop advocacy for basic human rights.
