Poppy is so pregnant we expect puppies any minute. Terrified, she allows us to pet her head and talk softly to her. :(

We arrived in Danville late on 3/12 and within hours had 2 VERY PREGNANT & VERY SCARED Beagles in our van. These poor sweet girls were abandoned nearby and found and brought to a small rural shelter.

Dhalia is so terrified she hides her face behind her crate, scared to even look at us. Both are going to give birth any minute - and we now have them safe and warm. But they are so scared that they cower and shake and hide - but do not growl or snap or bite. Sweet Beagles. Our hearts are breaking for them but we are giving them soft quiet space to decompress and have their pups.

They have zero vetting, likely have massive intestinal worms and are heartworm positive.

Rounded up in a major drug bust, these are 2 of 15 Beagles on limited time at a tiny shelter needing us NOW.Meanwhile, we have been asked to help 15 more Beagles just a few hours away who were confiscated during a major drug bust where more than 40 dogs were found - 15 of them Beagles. Half of them have tested positive for heartworm and are in a very small shelter with limited time. We are acting as fast as we can to move them and get them safe.

1 of 15 Beagles (a sweet girl) from the drug bust. Euthanasia is imminent if we cannot find a place for them all. But this is already more funding than we have set aside for this month's medical - all while our Trails UP team is on the ground doing a large-scale TNR for outdoor kitties. It's raining medical animals on us faster than we can process.

HELP - we need to get all of the Beagles safe from euthanasia, seen by a vet, vaccinated, transported and into foster homes if they have any chance of avoiding euthanasia.
