Ezra's family fund to support health care costs

Hi, I'm Baby Ezra. I was born on January 13 and arrived a bit earlier than my mommy, my daddy, and the doctors expected. I'm a little on the small side so I’m still in the hospital, but I’m doing great. My only concern now is for my mommy.

My mommy made sure I safely entered the world and then, before we had a chance to really say hello, she had to go have surgery for her heart. In my first week, she’s now had to have multiple surgeries. It’s scary not being with her all of the time like I’m used to.

She’s been surrounded by great doctors and nurses who are caring for her 24 hours a day. She is fighting through all of it, and she makes me so proud I get to call her my mommy. My daddy and our family haven’t left her side, either. I can tell they are also so proud of how strong she is fighting.

I have gotten to see her a couple of times in her hospital bed. She hugged me close even though there are lots of special machines attached to her helping her get stronger. I have not been able to talk with her yet, but I know she is looking forward to holding me. I can’t wait until I get to be in her arms without the wires and cords.

I will likely get to go home before my mommy. My daddy and I will need lots of help to get through this next chapter while we wait for her to come home, too. I am hoping that you might consider helping my family. My daddy will use your support to cover some of my mommy’s and my hospital bills and to help me at home while the doctors continue to help my mommy.
