Austin and I have an opportunity to return to Ensenada, Mexico to partner with Baja Bound that serves the immigrants. We will join with other people from Oak Pointe Church to work along families to build 5 homes. Additionally the homes will be furnished as well.
The family we built a home for last year was a family of 7 who were living in a tarp home. After one week, they were living in a permenant, secure home with 3 rooms ands and beds to sleep on with a door that locked.
Additionally, friendships were built as we share the gospel and the love of Christ. We continue to stay in contact with the familes and deep friendships have developed.
While in Mexico, we will also visit a Migrant camp to deliver food, and personal items and to to play with the children.
Our trip last year was transformational in both of our lives and strong connections were made with the team and with the families we served.
