Help save the Reece Center! Since 1984, Ride Atlanta Inc. (dba Reece Center for Handicapped Horsemanship) has been providing equine-assisted therapy for differently-abled children and adults in the Atlanta area. Our home for the past 17+ years has been rezoned and sold to developers with no consideration of this precious resource. The clock is now ticking for us to find a new home. As a 501(c)3, all donations are tax deductible!
Below is a short list of our needs in a new home. Please spread the word, the more people that know about us, the better chance we have of finding our new home!
- 18-20 acres of useable pasture
- Fenced property
- We are willing to look at the surrounding areas / counties from where we are now, but we do need to consider distance.
- We would, obviously, prefer for the land to be donated so we always have a home, but we are willing to consider a long term low cost lease. (Remember we are a 501(c)3, so every donation is tax deductible)
- A barn on the property is a plus (we currently have 12 horses and will be adding to our herd soon)
