Thanksgiving 365 is a fundraising effort that asks us to give during this holiday season to help feed the hungry, not just at Thanksgiving, but throughout the year. Inner City Development serves the westside neighborhood where we live but also serves families from around San Antonio.
Each year a number of volunteers commit to fasting until they reach a goal of $1,000 each with a collective goal of raising $30,000 to keep the food pantry at Inner City stocked all year round. This year we will be participating as fasters and ask you to make a donation to support Inner City.
Hunger and food instability are a real issue for many in San Antonio. This year it is even tougher. This pandemic has forced us all to reflect on the fragility of life and of our individual circumstances. I hope those of us who have been able to get through these times can find a way to support others in need.
This fundraiser is one small way to reach out. We ask you to join with a donation of any amount, if you are able. And thank you, to all of you out there who are already doing what you can to help your neighbors.
