Foster children are isolated. Child neglect & abuse are on the rise. We need your help to help them.

$25,000 goal

With the outbreak of COVID-19 and the ensuing isolation, job loss, and economic uncertainty that swept across the country, foster children were suddenly and almost entirely cut off from their caseworkers, biological family, and friends. Add to that the almost-inevitable rise in instances of child abuse and neglect, and Atlanta CASA's work is more crucial now than perhaps ever before. To ensure mission fulfillment continues uninterrupted, we are launching an ambitious Giving Tuesday campaign for Dec. 1, 2020.

In honor of our 25th anniversary year, Atlanta CASA's Giving Tuesday campaign goal is $25,000. This is a lofty but worthy goal and we are confident that with the support of our board of directors, donors, CASAs, and other stakeholders, we will reach and perhaps even exceed it.

With children largely removed from mandated reporters, such as teachers, the foster care and CASA system needs:

  • Enhanced recruitment efforts
  • More training for current CASAs
  • Greater retention activities
  • Enhanced training for new CASAs

You can change a child's story, recast their future, and enable Atlanta CASA to provide them with a loving, stable adult presence.

On Giving Tuesday, we need you:

  • to donate to help us reach our $25,000 goal;
  • to share our story and mission with your network;
  • to help spread the word online;
  • to be a champion and a voice for a child that has none.

Atlanta foster kids are counting on us. On Dec. 1, we're counting on you.
