Show Them Their Dreams Matter

The pandemic has forced many of us to look at life through numbers - how long can we sustain ourselves? Have we eaten enough for the day? Are we making enough progress in our day to day lives?

But what about those worldwide, affected by humanitarian crises that now have to add health and the uncertainty of tomorrow to the list of things to worry about?

At their peak, school closures due to COVID-19 affected almost 1.8 billion students, disproportionately hitting those in vulnerable situations the hardest. Among those are kids like Syrian refugee Mariam, age 11, who now worries about her future, one that grows smaller and smaller in her eyes as time passes on.

It's time to change that. You can give kids like Mariam the chance to go back to school, while also having the ability to come home to a warm meal every day. This #GivingTuesday you have the capability of giving a child a reason to be brave, to have a future to look forward to, and know they aren't alone.
