I believe where a child starts should never determine how far they can go.
As a former teacher and now Co-Founder and Co-CEO of I Would Rather Be Reading, I’ve spent years watching what happens when kids are surrounded by people who see their potential and are willing to invest in it. I’ve watched students become stronger readers, discover careers they didn’t know existed, build confidence, find community, and begin to imagine something bigger for themselves.
I believe opportunity changes trajectories. I believe every child deserves access to it. And I believe our community has the power to make sure they get it.
