Give 8/28 - Celebrate Black Philanthropy Month

We are celebrating our10th Anniversary all year long!  Our fundraising goals support the mission of the Friends of African American Art & Culture of the Columbia Museum of Art.  We strive to further the Museum’s mission to educate, enrich and inspire the community and visitors to our state while increasing engagement with members of the community interested in African American art and culture. 

Your contributions support programming that connects Museum visitors with the permanent collection of works from African American artists, exhibitions featuring African American artists and events that offer a real-life perspective on the contributions of African American artists.  Our programming includes interactive events with local artists, sponsored programming in celebration of Martin Luther King Day, an awards program -- The Enduring Spirit Awards -- that recognizes the contributions of African American women, and other exciting programming.
