Spring Fling Fundraiser- Let's Raise Hope

Amid the Covid-19 pandemic, the Family Violence Prevention Center (FVPC) of Greene County made the difficult but necessary decision to cancel the upcoming signature Spring fundraiser, “Spring Fling” which was scheduled for May 29. 

In light of this, we are still counting on our local community to provide the essential support the center requires for the continued daily operations. The virus has not placed the need for services on hold. We are directly asking our friends who regularly support FVPC’s work during the spring to boldly do so. The financial goal is to raise $40,000. Debbie Matheson, FVPC Executive Director expressed “I am thankful to share that many of the individuals and businesses who had committed financial support through event sponsorship have whole-heartedly affirmed their financial commitment toward the required amount. Be reminded that the order to Stay at Home is keeping victims safe from a virus, but putting them in the very location where they are physically and sexually unsafe. Please know that your consistent support is essential for FVPC’s daily operation. You support is needed now!”
