Plane Tickets Purchased
We are so excited to announce that we received our Travel Approval and have purchased our plane tickets. It's almost time to go. The plane leaves in just a little over 2 weeks. We are very excited and scared, all at the same time. Please keep our family in your prayers as we travel. This isn't going to be easy and our hearts already hurt for our son and for the people our son will be leaving behind. We've been asking God for months to prepare his heart. We believe He has, but we also know that the physical act of leaving will be very difficult. We are continuing to trust God to go before us and prepare the way. He is truly an amazing God and will go before us.
God has called us to adopt again. We have an age gap between our youngest son (16) and our youngest daughter (7) and God has led us to a son who turned 13 in July. He will be a perfect fit in our gap. We are beyond excited!
China only allows a child under the age of 14 to be adopted. That puts us in a time crunch. We have to be in China before his 14th birthday. Our home study is nearly done and we've already started submitting our documents for our dossier. Always trying to stay a step ahead.
