Corner of Love Costa Rican Refugee Support

This fundraiser supporting a small team to staff a medical refugee clinic near the border of Nicaragua. This trip is run by an organization called Corner of Love, which is based out of Seattle and has been providing medical care to this community for many years. A local university typically supports this mission with nursing students, but a recent international travel pause for the school has created a last minute gap in coverage for this organization. Two of my fellow Respiratory Therapists and I will be joining a small group including physicians and nurse practitioners, to support this cause.

Our team members will each be bringing 2 large checked bags full of supplies to fill the shelves of the clinic. Travel costs, translators, essential items and security all contribute to making this an expensive venture - any support is much appreciated. Some larger items will be easier to acquire once in Costa Rica, and we will be purchasing those supplies once we're there (ie: diapers, blankets, food, towels).
