This family is facing significant financial hardship, compounded by food insecurity and limited transportation that make daily life and access to services difficult. All of the children are autistic, with both boys being nonverbal and managing additional developmental challenges and asthma, which require ongoing care and attention. The household also includes caregivers with their own support needs—Mom is autistic and has ADHD, while Dad is living with an autoimmune disease—adding further strain to an already overwhelmed family system. Despite these challenges, the parents remain deeply committed to meeting their children’s needs and working toward greater stability for their family.
