Holmes Community: We need your support! 


The Holmes PTO Annual Fundraising “Drive” has begun.  Our 2022-2023 goal is $10,000!!!


We encourage each family to give what they can to support our school, any contribution counts.  If each Holmes Family gives an average of $30 to this year’s Direct Drive, we will surpass our goal. 


Your contributions in the last two years supported things like:   

  • Increased partnership with Holmes staff and teachers by making sure all PTO programs and events align with our school's vision and curriculum.
  • Research, organization and execution of ALL EDGE after-school classes.  In FALL 2019, 217 students participated, and we funded 50 scholarships (21% of fall EDGE students).  In addition, we are on track to fund another 50 scholarships for SPRING 2020.  
  • Launched the first Holmes student theater production, “Mary Poppins”, in Spring 2019.
  • Launched a new school-wide reading initiative, “One Book, One Holmes”, in 2019.
  • Funded two upgraded school water fountains, now located on the 1st & 2nd floor south wing.
  • Supported academic programming for hundreds of students (e.g. Math Night in 2019.  Plus, a Literacy & STEAM nights are in the works for 2020).
  • Provided more FREE family events, (e.g. Fall Carnival in 2018 and 2019.  Pancake Breakfast in 2018, and our next one is scheduled for Saturday, February 22, 2020.  Taste of Holmes in 2018, and our next one is scheduled for Saturday, March 14, 2020.)
  • Supporting Community Events that included: 4 Popsicles-in-the-Park events and 5 Dine-outs.

  • Curated 2 community meetings.

  • Gifted staff a back to school class fund and a New Year’s Gift!

  • Funded or partially funded student education, assemblies and field trips.

Why Direct Drive?

We want to be effective and efficient with your time and ours, therefore our FUNDraising efforts are streamlined to these events.

  2. Popcorn - RAISED $5,928
  3. Trivia/Auction Night - RAISED a RECORD BREAKING $11,100
  4. ShopWithScrip Gift Card Program - $1,000 Goal
  5. Direct Drive - $10,000 Goal
  6. Book Fair - $4,000 Goal (Note:We need a parent volunteer to run Book Fair this year or this goes away)


Your generosity helps keep our FUNDraising efforts to a minimum, while increasing our commitment to FUN-raising community events.
