It has been such an honor to join Come before Winter as the new executive director. I have experienced firsthand, as both a team member and a participant, the powerful renewal that takes place through Come before Winter. As a renewal participant in 2017, I found exactly what I needed but couldn’t provide for myself: time with God, meaningful Bible study, intensive prayer, and wise counsel from spiritual aunts and sisters. I came home with insights I needed to begin healing from burnout and the ability to make hard decisions that led to great blessings in my life and ministry.
I am honored and excited to be able to provide that for other Christian leaders around the world. Through our in-person and virtual renewals and online classes, CbW offers a place of respite, reflection, and transformation for women and men - many of whom have suffered and struggled in caring for the people they serve during the pandemic.
Your gift to Come before Winter supports my travel to Poland in 2022 for an in-person renewal serving women in Eastern Europe (Lord willing and Covid restrictions allowing). Your gifts also support our ongoing programs that connect women and men year-round to in-depth teaching, supportive community, and meaningful prayer.
