We believe Black children deserve representation, stability, joy, excellence and justice in their schools. We know that Black educators and "Black-owned" schools are necessary to achieve this vision.

We provide site-based professional development and capacity-building support to “Black-owned” schools across New Orleans in five essential areas that serve as the foundation of effective schools.

We convene Black educators citywide throughout the year for community-building and professional development experiences that strengthen Black educator networks and develop their practice as culturally competent practitioners advancing the holistic development of Black children.

We build public awareness and support about opportunities to help Black children thrive by supporting Black educators and “Black-owned” schools.
