My Ukrainian Teacher Fighting on Frontline

Hello, my name is Mykhailo Mazalevskyi and I'm an international student from Ukraine. Prior to coming to the United States, I was studying in a Ukrainian high school located in Kyiv. As a high schooler, I had a wonderful history teacher who would always help me with preparing for local history olympiads. His teaching methods were one of the reasons why I fell in love with history. 

In March 2022, right after Russia invaded Ukraine, my history teacher joined the Ukrainian army to protect Ukraine's capital. After a few weeks of fierce fighting, the Russians withdrew from the capital, and he was sent to defend the East, a region of Ukraine where I was born. As an infantryman, he now lives in trenches under a scorching sun, risking his life to ensure our peaceful future. 

Therefore, I'm asking you to help his regiment financially. Right now they need 2 things to successfully resist the Russians:

Portable Solar Generator

In Ukraine, the monocular costs $3,600 (128,000 UAH). They also want to spend $600 (21,000 UAH) on a portable solar generator. The Russians are planning on intensifying the Eastern Ukraine offensive, so it's important for these items to be delivered to the frontline as soon as possible. Despite the fact that I live in the US, I want to do my best to financially help Ukrainian troops. I hope that the people of the United States will help me in this endeavor!
