42 Hours of Creating Change

Since 1984, DRI has served as Iowa’s Protection & Advocacy system. Today, DRI investigates abuse and neglect, monitors facilities, and provides legally based advocacy for Iowa’s disability community. While DRI has been Creating Change for more than 30,000 Iowans with disabilities over the past 42 years, there is still work to be done. 

DRI's services are provided at no cost to Iowans with disabilities and are funded through federal grants and donations from people just like you. The services provided are more critical than ever as Iowa's disability community has grown by 13% over the last 5 years alone and continues to grow. Already, DRI has surpassed 2,000 requests for services this fiscal year, more than we typically receive in an entire year. A donation from you today would help expand our capacity to meet this growing need and continue protecting the rights of Iowans with disabilities.
