Central Jersey Alumnae 45th Anniversary Gala

LDelta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide assistance and support through established programs in communities throughout the world.  Delta Sigma Theta Sorority was founded on January 13, 1913 by twenty-two collegiate women at Howard University in Washington, D.C.  

Central Jersey Alumnae Chapter (CJA) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated was chartered on November 8, 1975 to provide services in  Union, Middlesex and Somerset Counties.  CJA focuses on youth initiatives, community service and awards academic scholarships to college bound students.

The Central Jersey Alumnae Foundation was established on March 15, 1996 as a 501©(3) public charity.   The Foundation provides sponsorship for programs and youth initiatives in Union, Middlesex and Somerset Counties.   Visit www.cjadeltas.org to learn more about the important role we play in uplifting our youth and the communities in which we serve.

On November 21, 2020, CJA will celebrate its 45th Anniversary with a virtual gala, “Celebrating a Legacy of Service.”  In collaboration with the Central Jersey Alumnae Foundation, CJA aims to raise funds for our youth mentoring programs, college scholarships and community outreach programs.  Our celebration goal is $35,000.
