Giant Rock, one of the largest free standing boulders in the world, is a historic site with Indigenous spiritual and cultural significance in addition to some great recent history as well (GIANT ROCK HISTORY), and is located 3 miles off a dirt road (access is no problem just take it slow) just east of Joshua Tree. We have partnered with one of our favorite bands DELTA SHADE and with the HOPI FOUNDATION to create a once in a lifetime concert event under the full moon. There is no way we can monitor and account for concert goers because of the openness of the area so, we are asking for a donation directly linked to the Hopi Foundation web site with a minimum suggested donation of $25 per person on the honor system. All Proceeds are tax deductible and will support tribal programs such as substance abuse and leadership programs we have elected to be a part of.
HERE ARE SOME IMPORTANT DETAILS ABOUT THE EVENT:
Camping is encouraged however there are plenty of hotels and lodging options available but do not delay.
Bring an RV if you wish but there are no hookups

The temp can dip to 45 degrees at night at that time of year. Be prepared
GPS and cell service can get you there but once you are at the "Rock" don't count on it
