Derrick asks your help to finish Big Wave

As you know, we’ve been dreaming about a place where Derrick can live with friends long-term in an intentional community. We have joined a non-profit cooperative called Big Wave, located in Half Moon Bay. Big Wave has already established an organic farm, and is starting construction on the residential part of the community.

One goal of Big Wave is to provide meaningful life activities for all of the residents. Within the community, Big Wave plans to build a commercial kitchen which might provide structured employment for Derrick and his colleagues.

We are now working with Coastside Gives to raise money to add several needs-based affordable units as part of the project.  April is Autism Acceptance Month.  Our goal is to raise $5,000 but we can’t do it without your help. Any amount you contribute is tax deductible.
