OUAGANET is a grassroots 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Florida, dedicated to serving rural communities in Burkina Faso, West Africa. We believe that with your support, we can make a significant impact in the fight against hunger and malnutrition in the impoverished rural areas.

Our Mission:

At OUAGANET, we are committed to providing sustainable solutions to improve the quality of life in rural Burkina Faso. One of our key initiatives is our community garden, which serves as a vital resource for local villagers. This garden not only provides fresh vegetables to the local communities but also serves as a training ground where villagers can learn essential gardening skills and techniques. In addition, students visit the garden with their teachers for educational purposes.

The Need:

Our goal is to enhance the capacity of our community garden, enabling us to grow a wider variety of fresh vegetables such as eggplants, green peppers, onions, carrot, okra, greens, and cabbage. Additionally, we aim to educate the community on planting nutrient-rich trees that will also help protect the environment.
