I've known for a long while that PFLAG New Orleans changes lives. I experienced this first hand in 2014 as a newly transplanted, wide-eyed innocent from Buffalo, New York in search of a connection. Okay, the "wide-eyed, innocent" part might be a bit of hyperbole but the unconditional love and acceptance I have received cannot be exaggerated. I have witnessed, in real time, this same beautiful energy take hold at support group meetings and community events. And I have witnessed this same impact among our scholarship recipients.
