2026 Back to School Supplies Fundraiser

We need your support for our annual Back to School Supplies Fundraiser! Our goal is to be able to support students as they transition into a new school year by providing school supplies and tools for success! We want to support over 200 students as they enter the 2026-2027 school year with various school supplies needed to be successful.

In an effort to engage the community, families will also have the opportunity to participate in a "Bring Your Own Backpack" experience, where students bring a backpack from home and select the supplies they need before the school year begins. This event layout will minimize waste, but also ensure that the supplies are well suited to the needs of the students. We plan to supply pencils, pens, notebook paper, notebooks, folders, highlighters, crayons, colored pencils, scissors, pencil cases, and more to support students across a wide range of ages.

Donors who support the fundraiser with $25 or more will receive a limited edition Building Bridges, Inc. 3D printed earrings as a token of our appreciation.

We have had success in our past 3 fundraisers through donations from community partners and donors to support students in the Wheaton, Englewood and Roseland communities, as well as students who attend Lara Academy and Grimes Middle School. We have donated hundreds of drawstring bags, and supplied students with folders, notebooks, pencils, pens, highlighters, pencil pouches, pencil sharpeners, granola bars, fruit snacks, and much more! We hope that this year will be our best year yet, but we need your help to make it a success!
