Dear Family and Friends,

Please help me Build a Better World by supporting my work with Builders Beyond Borders (B3).

B3 is a non-profit organization that engages high school students in local and global community service projects. During the fall, we work on service projects with community partners in our local community and in 2024, we will be working with community partners in the Dominican Republic to build a better world.

There are many families in the Dominican Republic who do not have proper documentation since they are descendants of people who came to work in the D.R. These people live in places called Bateyes that do not have great living conditions nor sturdy homes.  In 2018, B3 partnered with the Haitian Dominican Women's Movement, a local NGO, to build The Anaïsas School - three classrooms were built providing space for more than 120 undocumented students to learn.

It is now time to take the baton and expand on their work; I will be traveling with 20 peers in February to start building bathrooms, a dining room, and several offices for the school. These improvements will address some basic needs and allow students and teachers to prioritize education and success.

This school has become a major support not only to the children but also to their families and the community. Your tax-deductible donation will help us fund our projects and would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your support and helping us make a difference! I will be sure to follow up with how the projects went and will send pictures so you can see the impact of your generosity.

With Great Gratitude,

Josie Caricato
