Help More Moms Find Their Village

Next Tuesday, August 11, I’m participating in Erie Gives to support Erie City Moms.

I became connected to Erie City Moms through Amanda and because of my passion for access, inclusion, and belonging. I signed up thinking about what I could give to the organization, but the truth is, it’s given so much more to me. Erie City Moms has been life-changing. I’ve met incredible women, built meaningful friendships, and found a community where moms are seen, heard, valued, loved, and reminded that they don’t have to do motherhood alone.

If you know me, you know I believe everyone deserves to feel like they belong. That’s one of the reasons Erie City Moms means so much to me.

Right now, more than 300 moms are waiting to participate in Erie City Moms programs. I would love to help make room for more of them.

My goal is to raise $2500 through Erie Gives. Your donation will help expand Moms Groups, Mother Matters Mentoring Circles, train more volunteers, provide transportation assistance, help meet basic needs, and create more opportunities for moms to find their village.

I want every mom to have the opportunity to experience a community where she knows she belongs and where she doesn’t have to walk through motherhood alone. I truly believe that when mothers win, communities win.
