Anita's Year End Fundraiser for PPF!PA 2025

Put People First! PA is a politically independent organization of everyday people from across PA uniting for Healthcare As A Human Right!  Our organization is 13 years old, and we are completely member-led and staff free. That means your donations go directly towards helping members during moments of crisis, send folks across the state, country or overseas to study and exchange with others, and to cover the everyday costs of our organizing - Zoom, printing, providing food and childcare, and more!

Put People First! PA helps turns fighters into thinkers and thinkers into fighters. In my 5 years with this organization, I went from never leaving the house to being a coordinator in the southeast region and having organizing conversations with people across the state. I truly believe it is vital for our continued future that we are organized as the poor for the better world we know is possible.

Here in the Southeast region (covering Philly, Montco, Delco, Bucks, and Chester) I'm proud to see the development of our leaders. Hospital closures continue to happen here, and around the state and continuing and deepening Medicaid cuts mean they will accelerate. The Crozer 8 bravely took part in an act of civil disobedience to protest against the closure of Crozer-Chester, pioneering a way to continue the fight for a hospital in Delaware County. As things continue to change we will continue to grow as people and as an organization to meet the challenges ahead.
