Campaign to Gain

Hello! As you may already know, I have been part of the Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach for the past 7 and half years, and I have worked with kids from as young as 6 months to high school seniors for well over a decade. The preschool age (3 and 4-year-old) is definitely my favorite! At this age, children learn how to count, recite the alphabet, learn social-emotional skills by playing with other children their age, and they tell the wildest stories! 

Due to COVID-19, our preschool has had to overcome some challenges, such as trying to teach preschoolers via ZOOM, and reopening in-person preschool but with only half our capacity. That means we were only able to serve half the amount of children that we normally do each year. 

Early Childhood Education is important for the successful development of children. It is directly linked to a path of college and career. 

Did you know that by the age of 3,  a child's brain is 80% developed? By age 5, it's 90% developed!
