FIRST Robotics Team 302 World Championship

FIRST  Robotics Team 302 is a talented and dedicated squad of 39 students of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics at Lake Orion High School. We don’t pass a ball, dodge obstacles or climb ropes—but we build robots that do!

With a lot of hard work and the generous support of our sponsors, we have had a great season competing in the FIRST  STEAMworks challenge so far!

• Event Winner, First Place Qualifier, and Excellence in Engineering Award, Howell District Competition
• Event Finalist and Entrepreneurship Award, Lansing District Competition
• Semifinalist, Pittsburgh District Competition
• Winning Alliance Team, Bloomfield Girls Robotics Competition

I am proud to say that FIRST  Robotics Team 302 has already been invited to compete in the FIRST  Robotics Michigan State Championship April 12-15. In anticipation of earning the privilege to compete in the upcoming FIRST  World Championship in St. Louis, we are doing a fundraising drive to enable the team to make this journey. The four-day trip to St. Louis is April  26-29 and will cost the team over $15,000, so each team member and  mentor is being asked to raise $200 to help defray the cost.
